Venetian rowing is a special type of rowing, typical of the Venetian lagoon.
Upon request, custom rowing courses are available by experienced and qualified staff who will teach you the sport of Venetian rowing. Spend a day doing something different, something typically Venetian.

Exploring Venice’s canals by kayak is the perfect way to visit the architectural beauty of the city. Venice has been loved by people for centuries and is recognized worldwide for its uniqueness. Apart from its history and beautiful palazzi, visitors often find the most striking part of Venice to be the relationship between the city and the lagoon and how one could not survive without the other.
The canals are like arteries running through the city and represent an authentic Venice, only by travelling through these small waterways will you experience Venice as a true Venetian.
ROWING WITH SANDALO The sàndolo is one of the most common boats in the lagoon an its name appears to be from the Latin word sandalium or rather sandal, precisely for its form. ROWING WITH CAORLINA The caorlina boat has a flat bottom with a raised bow and stern. It most likely gets its name from Caorle, the Venetian town near the sea, which was once an island of the doge. TOUR OF THE ISLANDS: MURANO A tour in the sandolo on the island of Murano, which is known worldwide for its tradition of blowing glass: it is here that the glass masters will pass down their secrets from generation to generation. A fascinating one-hour outing through the small tucked away canals of Venice, travel through the Jewish Ghetto area, a special and relaxing part of the city. SNACK & PADDLE A nice calm tour within the sestiere of Cannaregio, one of the most colourful parts of the city.  A stop along the way in a typical osteria for a glass of wine and cicchetti (Venetian finger food) will make this a true Venetian outing. SAN MARCO & SURROUNDINGS St. Mark's Square, The Bridge of Sighs and surroundings, seen from an exclusive and uncrowded point of view. It's a great opportunity to take photos.  Rightly so, Napoleon called this square: The Most Beautiful Drawing-Room in the World! LAGOON Enjoy yourself by paddling on the open lagoon surface in complete freedom. From Rialto to S. Michele Island and then straight to Murano Island. Here you will stop at a typical “osteria” for a glass of local wine and cicchetti (Venetian finger-food). LUNCH IN MURANO A nice and quiet trip through the lagoon that will make you happy and hungry. The tour is similar to the LAGOON one, with a difference: your efforts will be rewarded with a typical Venetian lunch of great wine and local fish. ARSENALE

An insight into the most ancient area of the island, Castello. Here you will see the Arsenale, the symbol of the medieval marine force of Venice, with its fortress walls built on the water. Venice’s formidable fortress-shipyard used during the powerful Venetian Republic.
